I suggest that you skim Chapter 1 of the text very quickly and read Sections 2.1 to 2.5 more carefully. We'll talk about the material in Chapter 2 on Wednesday. You might also find Chapter 1 of my Notes useful. Between Wednesday and Friday we'll talk about Chapter 2 of my Notes.
